Terms of Service
The deal between you and Husk, written the way we'd want a vendor to write it for us.
Last updated .
The agreement
By installing the Husk widget on a site you control, or by creating a Husk account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't install it — that's fine, no hard feelings.
What Husk does
Husk is a hosted chat widget that reads the text of pages you own and answers visitor questions about them. It also emails the site owner a weekly summary of questions the site couldn't answer well.
Your responsibilities
- You must own or have permission to install the widget on the site.
- You agree not to use Husk for spam, illegal content, harassment, or abuse.
- You are responsible for the content of your site, which Husk reads to form answers.
- Don't try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
Plans and billing
- The free plan is free. No card required.
- Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the period.
- If your usage exceeds your plan's limits, we'll email you before charging anything extra.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day, no-questions refund on first-time subscriptions. Email hello@huskchat.com and the money goes back the same day. See /refunds for full details.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We can terminate the agreement if you breach these terms or use Husk for abuse, with reasonable notice unless the abuse is ongoing. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days.
Liability
Husk is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it up and accurate, but our total liability to you is capped at the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. If we can't resolve a dispute by talking, the courts of Warsaw have jurisdiction.
